Sold in sets of 2 panels and installed as Outside Mount only. Use them to cover your window's full height, its partial height (café shutter), or double-hung (one panel set mounted above another set).
Each set comes complete with pre-drilled mounting strips already attached to polished brass hinges. A very simple do-it-yourself project. All you'll need is a Phillip's head screwdriver, a steel measuring tape, and a pencil. Includes easy-to-follow, illustrated installation instructions, screws, matching button plugs, and magnetic catches.

Measure Your Window and Select Shutter Set Size:
Each two-panel shutter set (See Illustration 1) comes hinged to a mounting strip
that attaches Outside of your window opening - either on the wall or on the
trim to the left and right sides of your window (See Illustration 2).
The shutter set widths shown below INCLUDE the mounting strips.
When measuring for Quick Ship wood shutters, use a steel tape measure, and
measure to the nearest 1/4". Always round up.
Width:
• Measure in 3 places the Inside WIDTH of your window opening.
• Use the widest measurement (to the nearest 1/4" always rounding up).
• From the widths of shutter sets available, select a size that is at least
3" wider AND not more than 5" wider than your window
opening size.
Example:
Your window opening width is 35". Therefore, the shutter set width
must be between 38" and 40" wide. After referencing the "Price Chart"
below you'll find that 38 1/4" is the only shutter width that fits the
range 38" to 40" wide.

Height:
• Measure in 3 places the Inside HEIGHT of your window opening.
• Use the tallest measurement (to the nearest 1/4" always rounding up).
• From the heights of shutter sets available, select one OR a combination
of heights.
• The top of the shutters can not be installed more than 3" higher than
the top of the window opening.
• The bottom of the shutters can not be installed more than 3" lower than
the bottom of the window opening. Also, if your window sill protrudes
into your room, the bottom of the shutter set can not be installed lower
than the top of the sill.
